Research is organised by having a central R&D department which is again divided into four primary research sections.

The Chemistry Section

The first three sections mentioned are headed by leading researchers at the University of Oslo. The Technology and Engineering Development Section for practical reasons is divided between Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA and Forskningsparken, Oslo.
